Perfect Timing

Genesis 22:8; Genesis 22:13-14 (New King James Version)

8 And Abraham said, “My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering.” So the two of them went together.

13 Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son. 14 And Abraham called the name of the place, The-LORD-Will-Provide;[a] as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the LORD it shall be provided.”

God has perfect timing. Not only in this passage above, but also in the right now of my life, AND His timing in showing me this passage. God is good. Gos is alive and very active in our day to day experiences and He is a reassuring God. He knows that we need to be reminded of things from time to time, so His timing on showing me this passage is just that. My wife and I currently have a lot of work to do and some big decisions to make for a potentially AWESOME job opportunity. I’ve been loosing sleep over how we’re are going to pay the bills etc…but already God is providing for us and showing us what to do! Just as he did with Abraham.
God, thank you for your faithfulness, for loving us, and for providing for us just as you did for Abraham. God i pray that you would continue to guide us through the upcoming decisions that must be made. I pray that we would reflect you in our decisions. Heavenly Father, i thank you for Abraham and his faith in you. God i pray that you would bless my family as you did Abraham’s and continue to work in me to make me the man you want me to be. Please watch over us and protect us. Amen.
