Psalm 37:7a,8b (New King James Version)
7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him;…Do not fret—it only causes harm.
God is my refuge, my strength, my comforter.
In the world’s eyes I should be frightened about how this is going to work out. In my case right now, which job am I going to get. I am waiting patiently, on Him to do His work, and because of that I am not scared. Why should I be? I am in the hand’s of God, of my Creator who loves me! No reason to be scared when that is where I am. If I wasn’t with God and didn’t trust in Him, I would be scared out of my mind!
Thank fully, I am not; I have no reason to be.
The Lord is my provider and protector.
Aaron, here are some other great verses for you to cling to in this time of waiting:
Psalm 27:14: Wait with hope for the Lord. Be strong, and let your heart be courageous. Yes, wait with hope for the Lord.
Isaiah 40:28-31: Do you not know? Have you not heart? The Lord is the the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Praying for you,
mom
